What have you been up to since graduating from UC Berkeley?
I worked on Capitol Hill, got married, moved to Europe, earned a Ph.D. in international relations from Cambridge, taught at Princeton, had two wonderful kids, moved back to the Bay Area, and helped launch an innovative high school called Khan Lab School.
How did your experience at Cal and in your sorority have an impact on you?
It helped me form friendships with a diverse set of women from all over the world learning to live, study, celebrate and weather life’s ups and downs together.
What is one of your favorite memories from your time in your sorority?
Impromptu dance parties in our rooms while getting ready to go out, study sessions in our study rooms, and the views from the roof.
Do you have any advice for current collegiate members of sororities at Cal?
Be kind to each other, stay in touch after Cal, and realize that friends like these don’t come around too often in life.
